installation of WCS in MCS hardware

Hi,

I want to install WCS 7.0 in MCS 7825-i4-ipc hardware appliance.

I can install it any windows server which is prequisition for WCS but in this hardware , how can i achieve it ?

Will i have compatibilty issue ?

What are all things to be checked ?

what is the procedure to install if it is not preloaded with WCS software.

Hi,

your question is basically not related to WCS. You want to install Windows Server 2003 on a MCS server.

Just put the windows 2003 CD in the drive :-)

Once windows is installed, just copy the WCS install file on it and you should be good to go.

MCS is preloaded with windows 2003 platform but i need to install WCS on it.

Therefore i asked the same question.

I mean to say , is it different from what we do normally on windows server ?Because , i am going to install WCS on MCS first time .

what is to be done for the same ?

Nothing special !

Just put the WCS install file on it, and install it :-)

It's the same as if it was any other server that WCS was running on.
