do you have any issues encountered when you place the access point in an AHU room? I plan to place one here but afraid that the interference level. I have no experience on this.
Thanks.

Air Handling Unit (AHU) are of 2 types 'single skinned' and the 'double skinned. We have installed a AP in both the types, but we run the antena calbes out of the AHU and place the antenas externally. With the insulations it seems that the radio signals will be attenuated. The best way to check is to conduct a site-survey and find out if you get enough signal strength in the desired hotspot area.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
Signal attenuation is not critical. I would like to know that whether the AHU devices will cause any interference to my signal in the range of 2.4Ghz from your site survey result?
The antenna will be mounted inside the AHU room. The building is still under construction. There isn't any devices in the room at the moment.
Thanks.
