Okay, don't know really where to ask
but the subject describes

Cisco router-ap's are great and awesome performance for home use, but is cisco still selling it? If so, can anyone give me a link to the list of products?
Just to clear thinks up, I am not talking about the Linksys wireless routers

If your looking for enterprise equipment, then it's Cisco, but since they let go the Linksys line, there isn't any home type router ap. Cisco has an SMB but that might not be what you want also.

1900 routers are great, but that's not really for "home use" :)

Well they don't make a cheaper model like the 871w anymore. Scott

I've seen in shops a lot of Cisco wireless routers. However, I am curious if Cisco is still selling that considering they let go of Linksys, w/c is their home based.

Yeap Scott,

That is what is on my head right now.
Probably opting for a router that has wireless capabilities,
Though cisco is funny considering if you "compare" models and check the lowest models, they still have a big LINKSYS word on it haha

What are you trying to do?   What WAN speed are you expecting?

Currently, Cisco has three routers with built-in APs:  860W, 880W and 890FW.

Both 860W and 880W are almost identical:

1.  AP is 802.11 b/g and antennas are fixed (you can't change the antenna).

2.  Both have a simple 4-port (optional PoE module) switch.

The only difference between the two is the amount of VLANs support and the WAN speed.

890FW has an 802.11 a/b/g/n AP.  Dual-band antennas are removable.  8-port (optional PoE module) switch at the back.

880W and 890FW has a fanless model.

Hi,

You would still buy the 800w series on ebay.

Aref
