LAP not joining a Wireless LAN Controller

Hello,

LAPs can not join the Controller.

I have followed the document of Troubleshoot and can not get anything.

In debug the only thing I see is a message "Last AP failure was due to Link Failure" but not why? or how to solve.

Could you help me?

The debug shows follows:

Re: LAP not joining a Wireless LAN Controller

all this in the same vlan.

Ip manager: 172.20.70.2

IP AP-manager: 172.20.70.4

Service-port:192.168.1.1

Virtual IP: 1.1.1.1

The APs get the correct ip, but I don't see them in the controller.

Okay, so the ap's and the wlc is on the same vlan. Check the time set on the wlc and make sure it is up to date. Reboot the ap and let the ap get an ip address and see what happens. I would console into the ap and capture the log so in case this doesn't work, you can post it and we can go from there.

What model ap, wlc and what firnware are you using on the wlc?
