Max power

Can someone tell me what is the max tx power for a 1252 and 1142 (US model) access point @ both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHZ?

Thanks

Re: Max power

The max transmit power on the 1252's and 1142's shoudl be as follows:

802.11b = 20dbm = 100mw

802.11g = 17dbm = 50mw

802.11a = 17dbm = approx. 40mw

This isn't so much a limit of the access point as it is a limit of the FCC Regulations which limits indoor wireless to 1watt maximum EIRP, for more information on this check FCC Part 15.247

Hope this helps.

Re: Max power

Although true... But check out what I blogged about on my site running a debug while on UNII 1/2/3. Depending on the band, the FCC limits power... So if you select channel 36 vs 161 ... There is different TX power...
