Maximum number of flexconnect accounts in the controller 8500?

Hi,

Flexconnect local authentication allows upto 100 users per flexconnect group. 2000 groups are allowed in 8500 controllers. Does it mean that 200000(2000X100) accounts are supported in total?  note: controller database is limited to 2048.

Hi Ramesh.

Local users added to the FlexConnect group do not book any space in the WLC DB. You try adding many local users to a FlexConnect group and monitor the DB entries already used and you'll find the number is not changing when creating new FlexConnect Local users.

Though, I doubt that you'll need 2000 FlexConnect groups with 100 users in each of group. :)

No, i dont think that this is the scenario which is possible as database is limited to 2048.So, it cant support so many flexconnect user accounts.
