Modifying AP on a 2504 controller I get an errorr message..

I have a 2504 running 7.4.115.0 code. it has 21 access points on the controller one of the AP's landed there is supposed to be on another controller. simple operation right ?  Click on Wireless tab and select the AP, go to High avaialability and change the controller. It all goes well until you hit the Apply buttion.

A new popup screen shows itself. " Authorization Failed. No sufficient Privileges "

I can't move any access points.

HI Michael,

1. May be your username is only for read only access.

Can you check here:is ur username is under read write or read only.

On the WLC, go to Management -> Local Management User

2.  Do you have any radius configured on the WLC by chance. If so can you make sure you don't have management checked there.  I have not seen that issues with the 5508 and any of the 7.x code as of yet.

security > Authentication click on server index 1 or 2, uncheck the management box in it.

Regards

Please check local user read write privileges on both the controllers.
