Need help configuring wireless controller with multiple access points

Hello,

I've been assigned the task of configuring the WLAN for a new three-floor building. We have a Cisco 2504 wireless controller and a couple of Aironet 2600 access points. Our access switches are 2960-S with PoE. We have diferent VLANs configured to segment the network.

My goal is to have two Extended Service Set SSIDs: Corporate (VLAN 50), and Guest (VLAN 60).

Also, I would like the wireless controller to be part of our management VLAN (VLAN 40).

I followed this intructions: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6366/products_configuration_example09186a0080665cdf.shtml
but the access points are not registering with the controller.

Those instructions are for Lightweight Access Points, thou.

I've been looking around for some other instructions but can't find anything.

As you may noticed this is my first time configuring a wirelless controller. Please help out with this. I will really appreciate it.

Ok. Just figured out that I have to add an option 43 to my Microsoft DHCP server. I did that and now the AP is finding the WC but I am getting these error messages on the console of the AP:

Thanks!

I think I will have to upgrade the IOS on the wireless controller.

Based on table 4 on this link: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/controller/5500/tech_notes/Wireless_Software_Compatibility_Matrix.html

version 7.0.2x.x does not support the 2600 series access points.

I will upgrade the IOS on the WC and see what happens.
