New WLC2106/AP install and can't get them to connect

New to the WLC Configuration but have configured Cisco ASA and Cisco standalone AP in the past. Trying to get this configured up following 2 videos...

Followed the instructions verbatim but cannot get the AP to connect to WLC and pull DHCP address. Routinely throws error below.

*Mar 1 00:34:18.919: %CAPWAP-3-DHCP_RENEW: Could not discover WLC. Either IP address is not assigned or assigned IP is wrong. Renewing DHCP IP.

Double checked all DHCP settings and can't for the life of me see the issue. Attached WLC Show Sysinfo and AP Show Version to the post in case someone notices something I didn't... anything else, just ask and i'll get it.

WLC 2106 are having SW version: 7.0.250.0

AP model is 2702 

Minimun Software requrement to Join 2702 to a WLC is: 7.6.120.0

Means this AP you can join to this WLC.

So is this a firmware thing or it just won't join ever? I bought the WLC and the APs together as a package...

2702 AP will not join to this WLC as 2106 last supporte dsoftware is 7.x

You either nee dto buy 2504/3504 or 5508 WLC to make it work.
