Setting up a 2006 wlc ver. 3 with a 1510ag-lap.

Have gotten all interfaces to ping, management can see the Mac of clients trying to connect.

I have set the tag for the vlan on the port. Tried setting the switch port to vlan and trunk mode.

Everything works except the clients getting an address. Need some help

Hi Friend,

Have you configured your controller as DHCP server of do you have an external DHCP server.

Also have you defined the DHCP server ip address under your interface configuration when you click interface section from controller web page?

Regards,

Ankur

I didn't do the org. config. It was set-up for external DHCP. After going back through the config I stumbled across a drop-down box that I think got mistaken for something else (wireless standard).

Because of the students here we have an open system for them.

The ref. I spoke of is to the 802.1x. We are thinking about setting up a RAS later for the instructors to use.

Sorry about not posting back when solution found. Thank for your help though.
