No up 802.11n AP Cisco 1141 only 802.11g

I have an AP model AIR-AP1141N-A-K9.

And this does not raise 802.11n and only shows 802.11g connection. The AP has set all speeds N but the notebook only connect at G.

I checked the manual to solve this problem, but I can not find the solution.Deputy current configuration, I welcome your comments.

Thanks

Re: No up 802.11n AP Cisco 1141 only 802.11g

The last IOS AP is: 12.4(21a)JA1

Re: No up 802.11n AP Cisco 1141 only 802.11g

Because you put  "authentication key-management wpa" under the SSID, and "encryption mode ciphers tkip" under the interface, the AP will use WPA, not WPA2.  Change the encryption mode to aes-ccm, and that will change your connection to WPA2.  802.11n only supports open and WPA2 authentication - NOT WPA.

Also, on a 2.4GHz radio, the "channel width 40-above" is not needed.  That radio doesn't support 40MHz channels - that requires a 5GHz radio, which the 1141 doesn't have.  Also, I would normally hard code the channel (1, 6, or 11 - depending on your regulatory requirements).

Hello,
I made the changes you mentioned and it worked perfectly on 802.11n.

Thank you very much.
