Novice question: maximum number of clients per AP

I was trying to search information in regards with the maximum number of the client devices per Acces Point. SSID and VLANS, as I understand, could have approx 16 clients. How is the CMA/CA or security implementations affect the number of client units?

The maximum number of associations on both 350 and 1200 aironet access points is 2007.If you want to lower the number, you have to go to WEB interface of the access point then go to setup screenand click on Advanced for AP Radio in lower right corner.
