Odd AP Join failure

I'm adding a new floor's worth of APs to an existing site.

The DHCP scope is already defined, subnet has plenty of space, Option 43 is defined, and 8 other floor's worth of APs alreadt use this and are working fine for months.

The new edge switch is programmed exactly the same as the others that already work.

This is a remote site, so an electrician plugged in the APs a couple days ago.

I check the WLC, and see no AP join messages at all from the new APs under MPONITOR>STATISTICS>AP JOIN.

Turning debug capwap errors and events on in the WLC CLI shows nothing.

From the edge switch, a show cdp neighbors shows the APs, a show cdp neighbors <interface> detail shows they have an IP address from the proper range.

I cannot ping, nor telnet into the APs.

From the edge switch I can ping the WLC Management IP, and the DHCP server.

On the switch a show mac address table shows the AP MAC addresses against the proper VLAN.

I've bounced the switchports with a shut/no shut.

I'm going to have someone physically unplug then plug one back in tomorrow.

In the mean time, anyone have a suggestion or two?

Console into the AP and reboot.  Post the entire bootup process.

Also post the following output as well:

1.  WLC:  sh sysinfo;

2.  WLC:  sh time;

3.  AP: sh version;

4.  AP:  sh ip int brief; and

5.  AP:  sh inventory

Odd AP Join failure

Turns out there was some ip ap inspection on all the vlans that was blocking traffic.

I plugged into a port and saw it immediately this morning.

Turned it off, APs are up.
