Permision denied when i m extracting a tar file

In TFTP server, if you set your working directory is IOS, you just need to run the command

ap: tar -xtract tftp://192.168.0.200/c1240-k9w7-tar.124-10b.JA.tar flash:

Without the path ios because it is set to the working directory ios.

Re: Permision denied when i m extracting a tar file

Have you tried to download the firmware again.  File might be corrupted.  I'm guessing that your TFTP is working and your FW is off.

are you able to ping the AP from the TFTP server?

Also can u try to check if there is any other application using the TFTP port on your server ?

netstat -a -no

You can try to have TFTP installed on another machine and see how it goes

Re: Permision denied when i m extracting a tar file

You have other entries that don't need to be there.  I use 3cdeamon for my tftp.... look at this doc:
