Hi all, from Cisco web site I can see folllowing power supply is accepted.
Access point power options: power supplied by the recommended external power supply (Cisco AIR-PWR-B), a DC power supply, PoE from a network device, or a PoE power injector/hub (usually located in a wiring closet).
At moment, all internal APs are connected to POE 2960 switch. Now I am setting up a one 3502 Externa AP, my questions:
does power injector will provide more power than POE switch (15W)?
does necessary for 3502 external AP to be powered by power injector?
about the injector, my understanding is that it is used as alternatvie for POE switch only, if you have POE switch, then no need for power injector for both 3502 internal and external.
Please someone can clarify this for me, thanks in advace. Roy
