Hello,
I have connection problems with W8 and wifi:
some w8 clients after a random connection time start disconnecting, we have to dinsable/enable wireless nic to restore connection
some w8 clients connects with modulation between 5,5 and 11 Mbps and often loose connection with APs.
I followed cisco guide lines for w8 connection (disabled MFP protection) and updated WLC IOS to 7.0.240.
I have four 4400 WLCs and one 5500 WLC in my network.
My laptops are from different vendor and we installed the latest nic firmware.
Do you have any idea?
Thanks
Johnny

You say some W8? So some work and some doesn't? Have you looked at the drivers? Do they have issues on an open SSID?
Thanks,
Scott

I intended some have the first problem, other have the second problem.
drivers are the latest
i have to check with an open ssid, do you mean testing them into a open SSID without any security?
Tks

Yes... no security... this can determine if maybe its a security setting.
Thanks,
Scott

Hi Scott,
I created a WLAN without any security set.
I can confirm that in the free wlan there are no problems with W8.
What can i do with protected WLAN?
I have issues both in WPA-PSK and in WPA+RADIUS
Thanks
