We would like to implement a wireless public hotspot. Is there a configuration parameter in the 1100 or 1200 AP that can turn the radio on and off at specific times. For example, we would like the radio to automatically turn on to provide access from 11am to 2pm every day and then automatically turn off.

It's not exactly what you were looking for may be you can try this, Version 12.04 has added a MAC authentication timeout featurette which is used in conjunction with MAC authentication caching. It enables administrators to control MAC authentication session time in seconds by configuring the ACS with RADIUS attribute Session-Timeout (27). When the session time expires, the access point deauthenticates the client and removes the cached MAC authenticated entry. When the client re-associates, the access point performs a MAC authentication operation with the ACS.

You could connect your AP to the power injecter and then connect your power injector to an outlet timer. Then the radio will come on when you want it and turn off when you don't want it. It's kind of like Christmas lights.
