Hello Guys,

I have setup guest SSID and user can connect to Internet, when the User connect to SSID they get the IP from DHCP and for internet they need to go to authtication page and administrator give internet acceptance. Now the problem is Users are not able to go to Authentication page directly, they have to manually type the IP address.

Need help on webpage redirect, let say when user get the IP from DHCP, he will open any web page so I want authentication page should open automatically instead of typing IP manually .

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

Most times this is dns related problem.

Clients need to receive a valid dns server in order to be redirected to the guest web page.

Do you use the internal WLC web page or something else like ISE?

You can test it using a public dns server like 8.8.8.8.

Hope this helps,

Regards.

yes if no changes were made to the configuration only option that this is not happening is due to DNS issue try to check if the URL is resolved correctly before any other troubleshooting.
