Reset Break Commands

Hello

I have a ap 1242

During reloading it hangs at

"Loading "flash:/c1200-k9w7-mx.123-8.JEA2/c1200-k9w7-mx.123-8.JEA2"...###########

I am trying to break the reload by "esc" but it does not..so I could not get in to the AP any ,idea how to get in to ap: mode

Ah, you have 1200 code on a 1242, that's not good. I wish I knew how to break into ROMMON, but I've never found how to do that.

Instead, you can load the correct version of code another way:

1. Download 1242 code to your PC with a TFTP server. Name the file "c1240-k9w7-tar.default"

2. Configure your PC for an IP address of 10.0.0.2, and connect your PC to your AP ethernet port

3. Hold the MODE button down while powering on the AP. Hold it until the LED turns red, which should take 20-30 seconds.

The AP should download the code and replace the one it has in flash. Then your AP should reboot fine. Let me know if this doesn't work for you.
