I have a couple of remote 1242APs with static IPs that are not responding to pings. I'd like to reset the APs and see if they will pull DHCP addresses. If we reset the APs using the mode button will with wipe out the static IP?
Thanks!

Hi Jason,
Yes, the IP will be reset to 10.0.0.1
Cheers!

HI Jason ,
If you use the mode button it will reset the entire configuration and make the AP to Factory default. If you have DHCp enable in your network AP will be taking DHCP IPaddres .
As far as i know the default ip 10.0.0.1 will come only if you are going to the AP rommon mode ( for recovery )
Regards
Angus
