RF in Radiology Area

Have one of those off the wall requests, please provide feedback if you have any ideas.

Looking to provide RF access in a radiology room. Trying to see if I install antenna inside and AP outside, will clients be able to access network. The walls are lead-lined.

AFAIK, MRI's use RF as well...not sure if that is an issue in your case, but if you have an MRI in your radiology room, there is the possibility of interference...

Almost all hospitals i did a wireless install, decided not to go for use of wireless in the radiology area. More than interference, in radiology rooms, the lead lined walls will absorb most of the wireless signal and hence, if you place an access point inside such a room, only that room gets covered properly. So the bottom line is that you will end up increasing the density of APs in the radiology area. More cost for covering lesser squarefoot of space.
