Securing a 1300 Pt-Pt Link

First off, a radius server is not in use. With that in mind, what is the best way to secure a point-to-point link using 2, 1310BRs?

Dean

the best way would be to use WPA-PSK which is supported on the 1300AP

the eaisest way to do this is to use the WWEB interface

step1 on the security-encryption manager page select Cipher then TKIP from the drop down menu

step2 on the security-SSID manager select the select the WPA checkbox in the authentication management section and enter the PSK in the box. you may also want to select mandatory key management.

if you have multiple SSID's you will need to create security for each SSID same as on a standard AP.

apply and you are set.

Good luck

Bill
