Hi!
I got a new task last week and can't solve the problem:
There're two 3500er LAPs, which are controlled by a 2504 wireless controller. Each LAP is connected to a PoE-enable switch port (not directly to the 2504). Everything is fine: configuration via 2504, AP's are registered, power levels at switch port, cables.
But the operational status is still "down" für both AP's, because the radio link is reported to be off. I can't find any clue, were to switch the radios on and get the AP's working.
Any hints?
TIA,
Chris

Under the wireless tab, click on the ap and make sure the admin status is enabled.

You do have an SSID that is enabled correct?

Hi!
SSID's were configured, but... shame on me: I missed the "802.11b/g/n" part of the wireless configuration page (not: Access Points > Radios > 802.11b/g/n). There you can/have to activate the wlan functionallity.
Most of the time I searched the different menues unter "Access Points". :-(
Thx for your help!
Cu,
Chris
