Setting up security for my LWAPP's

Hello,

I have a 4402 connected to a couple of LWAPP's and have created an SSID that I see broadcasts properly. I want to setup security and don't seem to know where it is I set it up.  It is in a lab environment now where the DHCP server is a Linksys that is connected to the internet. It looks as though most of the setup screens seem to assume I'm going to set it up with LDAP or radius of some kind. Is there not some way to just create a password for each SSID? Perhaps something using WPA2 or WEP?

Re: Setting up security for my LWAPP's

Hi William,

Looking at the 4400 configuration guide, you should be able to setup WPA and WPA2 on the controller. It should be under the WLANs>Security>Layer 2 tab.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/controller/5.0/configuration/guide/c5wlan.html#wp1094632

Cheers,

Conor
