Wonder anyone encounter these! I have catalyst switch running RSTP+ connected to AP1200 with vlans. The switch port that connect to the AP is configured trunk in order to transport vlans. Odd things happen when link on catalyst switch fail, the catalyst port connect to AP1200 turns from forwarding to block. It then took 18 sec (or timeouts) before it become forwarding again. During which, AP client loss connection to catalyst switch. I cann't disable trunking unless I don't want to run wireless vlans. I have tested with client connect to catalystA switch trunk to another catalystB switch which got no problem when any catalystA link failed, port connect to AP still forward (I believe it recover fast). Anyone have any idea !!
