Throughput problem on AIR-PI21AG-E-K9

Hello,

I have configured a wireless LAN with a:

- WLC 4402 -25

- AIR-AP1121G-E-K9 converted to lightweight

- AIR-AP1121G-A-K9 converted to lightweight

- Client adapter AIR-PI21AG-E-K9

I have a problem in one floor of the building where there are 3 AIR-AP1121G-A-K9 and one AIR-AP1121G-E-K9: after connecting to the WLAN, the adapter client get a throughput of 54 mbits and it is connected to the nearest AP (AIR-AP1121G-A-K9) but after few minutes it roam to the AIR-AP1121G-E-K9 with a throughput of 1 mbits.

Please can you help e to fix this problem?

Thank you

It sure can be... you want to at least keep standard. WLC and AP's on the same regulatory domain and client cards too. Depending on the regulatory domain, certain channels and TX levels change.

Try to disable the lower data rate on the WLC. This will sometimes forces a client not to connect to a lower data rate, but some cards do have issues with this. Disable 1mbps, 2mbps and 5.5mbps and see if this fixes your problem.
