Trying to measure.....

I just recently took over this network and it is completely wireless, from a WAN perspective, with the exception of the DSL connection that gives us the internet. We have tower on top a mountain that sends a signal to a different city some 15 to 18 miles away, this is where our DSL is also. I'm wanting to find out if that connection is a 11Mbps connection or a 1Mbps connection. The signal is a direction signal from one dish to the other and we are using spread spectrum. I'll try to diagram what I'm saying.....

main location <-----> Tower on the MT. <--------> Branch location in different city <--------> DSL Connection

We do it this way because were in a rural area that it's cost effective not to purchase a lease line...

Thanks.....

Re: Trying to measure.....

Do an FTP transfer across the link and watch the data rate. You may also want to call the people who set up the microwave link.
