Unable to login to AP GUI screen blank

I've just purchased a cisco 861W. I cannot access the web interface for the wireless access point. When I try to, I get a mostly blank screen with an enter button on it.  I have this problem.

Do I need to flash the AP? How? Where do I get the image? This is our first cisco device and we do not have a service contract.

Re: Unable to login to AP GUI screen blank

Hi,

This is a software bug.. We need to upgrade the IOS on the AP module to latest.. Please open up TAC case with us and we will help you out in resolvingthe issue.

Else, the below steps may help you..

http://tools.cisco.com/support/downloads/go/ImageList.x?relVer=12.4.21a-JY&mdfid=282084442&sftType=IOS+Software&optPlat=&nodecount=5&edesignator=ED&modelName=Cisco+861W+Integrated+Services+Router&treeMdfId=268437899&treeName=Routers&modifmdfid=&imnam...

Provide your CCO id to download the software and point the image to the TFTPd32 root folder and issue the below command on the AP CLI..

archive download-sw/force-reload/overwrite tftp:///image

Ex

archive download-sw/force-reload/overwrite tftp://10.0.0.1/ap801-k9w7-tar.124-21a.JY.tar

Surendra
