Dear Team,
This is regarding the Cisco WLC 2504. Presenlty I have version 7.0.220, I want to upgrade to 7.4.121, So I want to know can I directly upgrade to 7.4 or I have to upgrade some middle version and then go to 7.4.
Also, need to consider anything about licensing?
Thank You,
Abhisar.

Hi Abhisar,
You can directly upgarde to 7.4.121.0.
Check this link : Table 2
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/release/notes/crn74mr02.html
Also dont forget to upogarde FUS 1.8 or version 1.9.
Procedure o update FUS:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/release/notes/fus_rn_1_7_0_0.html
Make sure to take a downtime window for atleast 60 minutes(software upgarde + FUS).

abhisar30,
Upgrade from 7.0.220 to 7.0.240.0
Upgrade the FUS --> this takes a really long time and you need dedicated console access!
And then upgrade to 7.4.121.0
You're obviously looking at significant down times here.

Hello,
In theory when upgrading to a newer version, FUS update is mandatory?
Also how can I find out the FUS version for 7.5?
