upgrade on aironet1200 to ciscc ios failed

i upgraded with the cac tool and was able to get back to it thru the console and the http but the radio will not enable

message in event log is Interface Dot11Radio0, failed - cmd busy any ideas? Mike Emenaker valley view hospital memenaker@vvh.org

Now that you have IOS running, update to a newer version (I think 12.3(7) is current).

You can use the GUI (System Software | Software Update) or the CLI

Cherbourg2#archive download-sw /reload /overwrite tftp:///

When you do software updates, make sure your radios are shut down to prevent unintentional interruption of the download.

If something FUBARs, DON'T REBOOT THE AP ... you still have operating code. If you reboot and the code is missing or corrupt, then you end up at the monitor prompt and recovery is a bit more tedious.
