WAP321 and WDS

I have a real simple setup and I assume a very simple solution.

I am setting up a wireless network for a user using a WAP321 access point, for the most part the coverage is ok in the house (very big house), however there are a few bad spots, my hope is that I could setup another WAP321 that could feed off the wireless of the other and maybe help the coverage without any disconnects from one to the other?

I am fairly new to this concept, do the two access point have to be in sight of each other? Does the second one I put in place need anything other than power?

I appreciate your time and thanks in advance.

No two AP need not to be in

No two AP need not to be in sight of each other.

Just the AP should be powered up and proper config should be done on that.
