WAVELAN /AIRONET COMPATIBILITY PROBLEM

Has anybody configured CISCO AIRONET 340 series to work with WAVELAN WIRELESS ISP OM -24 -BS 8100 BASE STATION. I am presently involved in this and it is giving me problem.

Make sure that WaveLAN product is 802.11b compatible. The Wave LAN name has been used by AT&T/Lucent'Avaya/Agere since about 1994 and you may have a 2.4GHz product designed for 2Mbps environments.

The Lucent/Avaya/Agere Orinoco cards should work just fine.
