Webauth bundle in 2106 AP controller?

Hi,

I would like to get webauth bundle sample to create custom page for our AP controllers but I'm unable to find the sample .tar within the WCS itself.

Some other WCS manuals has references in them that says there should be link to download sample from WCS but clearly 2106 hasn't got one.

There's one in download section "webauth bundle 1.0.2.zip" but this is for registered partners and costumers, we are not registered as partners and cannot download the sample ourselves.

Any suggestions?

The WCS is not the same as the WLC.  Ifyou have the WCS server, there is a template to download the sample webauth or passthrough.  Now since your not a registered partner or customer, the only way you can get the sample out of the 2106, is to view the source code and copy that.

On the WLC, click on the Security tab | Web Auth link on the left | Web Login Page | Choose Internal (Default) from the drop down | Click preview on the top right.

Now a webauth page will open and you can right click on that page and view code.  Save that and the images if you want and go edit that page to your liking.  This will only show you the webauth page, not the passthrough.  If you want to edit the passthrough, then create a guest ssid and set that to passthrough and actually associate to that page and copy the code.

Webauth bundle in 2106 AP controller?

Hi,

Here is the link that explains how to customize the Web Authentication page.

www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/controller/7.0/configuration/guide/c70user
s.html#wp1049404

You will need to download the web authentication bundle from cisco.com and
then do the html customization you need on the bundle and loaded to the WLC.

To be able to downalod the webbundel you need to have a valid user ID and password that allows you to download software from the Cisco.com site.
