Hi,

As per my exp.: yes it is supported.

However, it seems there is still a problem with wildcards certificates if they are chained :

Check this links:

Third part cert:

Carl,

Get out of firmware 5.X.  This is the "Miley Cyrus" of WLC.

Don't stay with the "miley cyrus" code

Or else, you'll wind up like wearing a face like this ... Priceless.

Wildcard certificates does work, but I have never tried it on a WLC running that old of a code.  You will need the cert and the private key as you will need to create a certificate for the WLC.  You can't just upload a wildcard certificate.

Upgrade to 7.0.240.0 if possible... Don't stay with the "miley cyrus" code:)

Thanks,

Scott
