Wireless Access Point Usage - 1242AG

I have recently purchased 6 1242AG AP's and would like to use them in an area that is 250metres*100metres with dry wall partitioning. I have set them up for use via my IIS server and will be using certificate authentication.

My problem is that I cannot get a signal better that 2 bars with the AP's connected to my LAN. I received the units and was informed that with the number of units and range I would be able to get excellent coverage with them. Are these units able to provide a good signal without the need for the antenna? the antenna were not in the package I received so I assumed that I can get the solution to work without them.

Please assist.

I don't believe the 1242's have internal antennas (someone please correct me if i'm wrong), so you will need to purchase external antennas for the APs.
