wireless bridges keep re-associating

I have two aironets about a mile apart that randomly lose their association and then re-associate. Other bridges connecting to the root bridge do not have this problem. This issue started when I upgraded the firmware last year - it went away once the firmware was upgraded to the current version - and has now started again. Any ideas ?

a) Make sure you are running latest 12.01 firmware

b) Go to Radio hardware page , try increasing beacon period to 4000 instead default 100 .

c) This bridges works in unlicence band so we need to

verify that there is no interference in that area .

Run link test and switch over to less busy channel

d) Check antenna alignment , RF connector again .

Coax cable between bridge and antenna should be as short as possible.

e)If possible run the bridge in default config ( without

encryption ) and see if you get same problem

f) hardcode the speed to 1 meg and see if links remains steady

where can I find information about the beacon period and the impact of increasing and decreasing the value.
