Wireless client disconnection issue

Hi All,

we using AP AIR-SAP-1602E-N-K9 running in standalone mode, were we are finding the intermittent client disconnection issue with an specific laptop.

Dell latitude : Nic : Intel<R> Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260

We are finding issue with only with this laptop.any suggestion to find the cause.

Hi Channa,

This Intel NIC is famous for issues. Make sure you have latest drivers (17.0.5.8) on it & check. Here are some reference links from intel/otehr community

Hi Channa,

Go for the latest driver version 17.0.5.8 & check it again. Intermittent connectivity issue should be fixed in that version. You can download it from here.

Normally the only solution of

Normally the only solution of that kind of problem is to upgrade your drivers or use fresh windows installation if the system is causing problem ,like malware or any unknown threat can create that kind of problem.

 

The above will solve your issue, lastly check in your AP is it set to  MIX mode i.e b/g as your laptop is also dual  band, and set channel assignment to automatic.
