Wireless controller issues

I have just deployed a 4402 wireless controller and updated autonomous 1231 aironets to lightweight mode. All works ok.

I create an interface on a vlan and added IP addresses etc.

Whenever i attempt to associate a WLAN with the interface the only interface available is Management

Another problem is if I create a interface and dont enable Dynamic AP management I loose access to the controller and have to remove the interface via the service port.

Any ideas would be welcome

On the WLC, is the newly created interface enabled?

You should enable dynamic ap management on the management interface or other interface, not a dynamically created interface for client traffic.

Is the port from the switch to WLC in trunk mode?

Confirm the following:

1.) Management and AP-Manager interface are on a single VLAN.

2.) Dynamic Interface is on a different VLAN and enabled.

3.) Both VLAN's exist on the connected switch.

4.) The connected switch port is configured as a dot1q trunk including both VLAN's listed above.
