Wireless Implementation - Queries

Hi Team,

We have AIR-WLC-4404 coupled with AP1020 for Wireless Access to the network and Internet. There are 10 different halls at which 203 APs would be installed with 5 Controllers controlling these Access Points. The customer would want 10 Different VLANs for 10 Halls named H1, H2, H3, etc... and when a user is in Hall1 he has to get an IP Address within the H1 VLAN and if he is roaming around the Halls he still has to have the same IP as that of H1, Please do let us know whether this can be implemented, we also have Cisco ACS Server for Radius and IBNS.

Regards,

Abdullah Majid

Hi Abdullah,

Yes this can be done by configuring mobility groups within your controllers.

Once you are done with mobility groups when user will get its ip address same ip address will be retain by his machine even he the users roams to different access points on different controllers.

Check this link which will guide you with the implementation of mobility groups
