How can you find out the type of antenna used on an access point by logging into the access point apart from physical survey?

I assume you mean external antennas attached to an access point. There is no way via the CLI to see what type of antenna is attached. The access point radios simple powers up bits and modulates them. The attached antenna acts like a mega phone.
