What is the method to provide Redundancy to the WLAN controller
function?
Can the Unified AP use a backup WLAN controller? In this case, is configuration of the two controllers automatically synchronized?

Hi Andres,
In the WLC world this is how an AP is covered in case one WLC fails. It is not without some "downtime" in case of failure but both Controllers are active. You have to keep in mind that an AP can only be registered to one WLC at a time so this is the best that you can do When one WLC fails the AP then has to re-register with the backup, this is not a completly seemless process.
This has some really good info;

Hi Andres,
You are most welcome my friend
To manage the WLC's you may want to look into the WCS
(Wireless Control System). It can be used to push config templates
to the AP's and WLC's as well as many management functions.
The WCS is a nice addition for the management especially when running multiple WLC's but is not required.
Info on the WCS;

Hope this helps!

Fantastic thanks.
But, is it possible to synchronize the configuration of both Access Controllers?
