WLC 2504 and HP switch port settings

Hi,

I'm having some problems configuring a 2504 wlc and a couple of APs (1131) connected to a HP ProCurve switch. I would appreciate any input as I do not have any experience with HP ProCurve switches.

The WLC port1 are connected to HP switch with vlan1, vlan11 and vlan66 TAGGED (trunk).

Same vlans are tagged on AP ports connected to same HP switch.

Result: AP does not show in WLC

If I set UNTAGGED (access) instead, the APs shows in the WLC. The problem is that I need to use several vlans and ssid's

Interfaces:

mgmt -> HP switch

10.1.7.15

internal-vlan11 -> SSID: CONTOSO

10.1.11.2

guest-vlan66 -> SSID: CONTOSOGUEST

10.1.20.2

My question is, what's the correct setting on the HP switch?

For the AP that access should be correct. If the ap is in local mode all the traffic will backhaul ti the WLC.
