Hi Everyone,
We have 100 remote sites and our initial WiFi design was to use a unique VLAN for wireless clients at each remote site and map the corporate-wide SSID to the unique VLAN at each site.
This would require mapping one SSID to multiple VLANs on the 4402. Is this possible? It looks like the 4402 supports a 1-to-1 mapping only between SSID and VLAN. If this is true we will have to re-think our design and perhaps create a large single network (ie. 10.17.0.0/16).
Thanks in advance for your response.
Ian.

Ian,
What you can do on the controller is setup the SSID to be "locally switched" and use HREAP. HREAP is supported on the 1130, and the 1242 AP's at this time. This will allow you to have the same SSID and corporate, and remote sites, but when you associate you are locally switched. Here is a link to the HREAP deployment guide.

HREAP? Never heard of it! Guess I have even more reading to do.
Thanks for your response, Ian.

AP Groups will allow the mapping of a single SSID to multiple VLANs.
