WLC 5760

  Dear ALL,

 Can 5760 WLC controller with 1000 APs be used without new 3850 switch, I mean as a standalone WLC or it need to be only with 3850 switch

Hi Kamran,

If you want, you can use a 5760 as a standalone controller like 5508 without Converged Access setup (with 3850 MA).

In this way there is no difference with CUWN design. All your AP CAPWAP tunnel will be terminated on a 5760.
