I have two 5508 controllers peered up in high availability. The problem is now the standby keeps rebooting saying it can't reach the default gateway.
What IP would it ping with and use as the source address if the two controllers share the same IP and the primary controller is using the IPs?
How do I fix the rebooting?
(Cisco Controller-Standby) >
Rebooting as default GW is not reachable from Standby Controller
Restarting system. Reason: Default Gateway is not reachable ..
I also had a LAG issue earlier so I unplugged 3 of 4 LAG connections.
Just found this document that has couple rebooting bugs in 7.4 and was supposed to be fixed in the next release.
HA secondary controller goes in a rebooting loop
To be included in next MR.
The bug details seem like a different issue though?
As told earlier it is a known bug in WLC 7.4 which can be fixed in later versions.
Well they said in 7.4 that it would be fixed in the next release and I'm using 7.5. Is it still a confirmed bug for 7.5?
