WLC Dropping AP

Trying to setup a new test controller to our enviroment.  WLC is 4404 running 7.0.230 with a 1131 AP.  I have turned off RDLP, TPC and DCA with the hopes that would help and it does not.  The AP will connect for a time, then drop...come back, every few minutes.  As you can see in the last message, it says the AP was reset operator changed a g setting...and I didnt change anything.  The AP time up does not reset either, so it is like a soft reset.  Any suggestions?

Could be  a cable problem.

Could be  a cable problem.  If the AP is connected to a switch, what is the exact model of the switch?

Is the AP rebooting?

The switch is a 6500.  I can

The switch is a 6500.  I can take an AP pointed to another controller and it associates just fine.  I have tried multiple different APs at this point.  Each of them get the same common message:

AP 'XXXXX', MAC: xx:xx disassociated previously due to AP Reset. Uptime: 0 days, 00 h 22 m 40 s . Last reset reason: operator changed 11g mode.

I have nothing at this point, about to open a TAC case haha.  I am not changing any settings, I can watch it go up and down every 5-10 minutes in CLI.  In the switch it shows the port is going up and down.  However, the AP just cycles through the colors and the uptime never resets in WLC when it is connected.  This particular was an AP I plugged up 22 min ago, it has had the "reset" 3 times now.

Problem of too many engineers

Problem of too many engineers trying to do the same thing.  The SVI was created on two different devices with the same IP.  I guess the AP would connect then the switch would see duplicate IPs and reset that VLAN.

Weird how the WLC reports it as that though...nice to have a simple problem fix something though.

Thanks for the input!
