WLC Interfaces and WLANs

Is it possible to have multiple WLANs use the same management interface? Or, do we need to create interfaces for each WLAN?

Re: WLC Interfaces and WLANs

You can have multiple wlan ssid's use the management interface if you like or any other dynamic interface you create. If you want the wlan ssid to put users on a different vlan, then you need to configure a dynamic interface for each vlan you need. A interface on the WLC can only be tagged for one vlan and not multiple vlans.

You can configure dynamic vlan assignment to have a radius server smnp a switch and put users on a specific vlan, but you would have to use radius. If you have a guest network and are going to use a splash page, then you will have to create an interface for that.
