WLSE failed to authenticate with WDS

WLSE 1130 running WLSE2.13FCS. Mixed 350-IOS & 1210 access point enviroment. I have ap's running as WDS's (with raido's off). WLSE is kicking out a fault saying "WLSE failed to authenticate with WDS" Each WDS has a "WDS-client" and password set, this has been entered into the WDS under "Device/Discover/Device Credentials/WLCCP Credentials" (I think this is where I screwed up!).

Can someone help me get this working???

Re: WLSE failed to authenticate with WDS

Hi Brain,

for the correct WDS setup you need the WLCCP Protocol running well.

WLCCP needs LEAP for internal authentication. Therefore i recommend to setup a local Radius Server on the WDS AP with the WDS User and Password.

Have a look here:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/wireless/ps4570/products_configuration_example09186a00801c0912.shtml

Then it will work fine!

I hope that helps.

Best regards,

Frank
