Active Form Rules - 'onClick' versus 'onChange'

We notice that when defining conditions & select 'Set this rule to fire when the value of any field referred to in the rule's conditions is changed', the triggering event is sometimes shown as 'onClick' OR 'onChange'. Can anyone tell us why & if it makes any difference?

Thanks.

onClick is used on Radio Buttons, onChange is used on checkboxes and dropdowns.
