Assign Authorization task to Person Not a Service Performer

Assign Authorization task to Person Not a Service Performer

How can I assign Authorization tasks to a person who is not a Service Performer?

Users with the Service Team Manager role may now assign Authorization tasks to non-service performers. To aid in determining which users are service performers and which are non-service performers, when you execute a Performer search in the navigation pane, ServiceManager now displays performers in two lists:

  • Service Performers
  • Non Service Performers.
Note that Authorization tasks are the only type of tasks that may be assigned to non-service performers. The system displays an error message if the user tries to assign any other type of task to a non-service performer. We recommend that users filter the task list (Quick Search Filter in the Data Pane) by the Authorization task type to avoid this error message.
  1. Filter the Task type using the quick search filters in the Data Pane of ServiceManager.
  2. Then:
  •  Select the Task,
  • Select the desired Non-Service performer, and
  • Assign the task.
